Message from McNary High School-
Our evening will begin with an introduction to the educators and programs in our building, sharing our vision and goals for the department. We will then give parents and young persons a chance to tour the building, giving them the opportunity to see high school students working and demonstrating their class activities. Our McNary students will be in action in their band, choir, orchestra, theater, photography, graphics, video, and studio art classrooms. Visitors may ask questions of the students, teachers and administration from McNary that will be present during the Open House.
Because of our commitment to arts and education, we have started a student scholarship fund this year. During the Open House, we will hold a drawing for our first three scholarships in the amounts of $250, $150, and $100. The winners will have their awards waiting for them on their graduation day! In addition, there will be 8 drawings for $25 gift cards to Michael’s and Uptown Music. Lots of great prizes, just for coming and seeing what McNary Fine Arts has to offer students of the Keizer Community!
