Update 8:50 a.m.
Power has now been restored at Whiteaker Middle School. School operations will resume at 10:20 a.m. Breakfast service will begin at 10 a.m.
Bus service will continue, however, as a reminder, all stops will be picked up one hour later than normal.

Dear Whiteaker Families and Staff,
Our school is implementing a one-hour delay today due to an ongoing power outage at our school. At this time, we do not have an anticipated time for power to be restored. Due to this power outage, we may need to announce further delays. We will notify you as soon as possible in the event of any additional delays.
At this time, we will begin school 10:20 a.m.
Bus service will continue, however all stops will be picked up one hour later than normal.
Breakfast service will continue when students arrive for school after this delay.
Thank you for your patience and partnership while we work through this outage with a focus on the safety of our students and staff.
