Review Student Information Online through ParentVUE

If you have not already, we are asking that you take a moment and review your student’s information online. You will do this by going to your ParentVUE account.

No ParentVUE Account?

For incoming 6th Graders, if you do not have an active ParentVUE account, please contact your student’s current school and they can help you get one set up.

Online Registration Account Access

Once you have logged into ParentVUE, you will see Online Registration Account Access in the upper right-hand corner. Once you click on that you will be able to start your Online Registration for 2022-2023 school year.

Please review the information on the registration form and make any necessary changes. Registration can only be completed by the individual who lives with the student at the address on file.

Emergency Contact Info

Emergency contact phone numbers are critical and must be accurate.

If you have moved, Proof of Residency should be attached for any address change. Proof of Residency can be a scan of a current Electric, Cable, Water, Garbage bill, or a signed rental/purchase agreement. If you move before the beginning of the coming school year, please notify our office immediately to ensure that you receive information from us over the summer.

Picture Retake Day Monday, November 1st

Retake Picture Day is Almost Here!

Monday, November 1st!

You have the ability to order pictures online by visiting dorianstudio.com and searching for your school’s name. Your online order can be placed before and up to four (4) days after picture day.

After the 4-day grace period expires, a personalized access key will be sent home with picture delivery. A $7 shipping and handling fee will be added to all orders made with a personalized access key and orders will ship directly to your home.

Students can enter building at 9am starting October 25

Starting Monday 10/25, students can enter the building starting at 9 A.M. through the cafeteria and music entrance. They will need to go to the gym or cafeteria until the first bell rings.

The Main entrance door will be unlocked at 9:15 A.M. and students will go directly to class.

Whiteaker Middle School would like to invite parents to our virtual parent/teacher conferences on October 20 & 21. Parents are encouraged to click the link to sign-up for a 15-minute virtual conference using Microsoft Bookings.

Conferences will be held via Microsoft Teams. Video conferencing is available by clicking the web browser link after you receive your booking confirmation. We highly encourage you to consider booking a conference with each of your child’s teachers.

Back to School “Taking Care of Business” 2021-22

Welcome Back to School

Welcome Back Whiteaker Families!

We are happy to welcome all of you to the 2021-22 school year! We are grateful to be able to welcome our students back into the building 5 days per week.

This year our “Taking Care of Business” event will now be virtual due to the following:

  • Students will once again be assigned to 1:1 technology. As such, they will not need to sign up for lockers as they have in years past.
  • There will be NO fees for sports to pay. (All sports fees have been waived this year.)
  • School pictures will be taken during the school day (September 10th.)
  • Students may wear solid white, grey or black P.E. shirts this year which you may purchase at a location of your choosing.
  • Whiteaker gear may be purchased after school starts at our school store.
  • School Meals are being provided at NO charge for ALL Salem-Keizer students.

Register your student for football, volleyball, and cross country using FamilyID Sports.

Online Registration/Enrollment Verification Process

Enrolling your student or updating student parent information has never been easier. This process can be completed online through a desktop or mobile device. Simply log into your ParentVUE account.

Make sure to follow the prompts to verify your student’s information. ParentVUE is also a secure way to check your students’ grades, attendance, and email teachers. Families will have one ParentVUE account for all students in their family.

If you have not set up your ParentVUE account, contact the main office to obtain your personalized activation key.

In case an emergency arises, it is extremely important to have current parent/guardian contact information. If you need assistance completing the online registration or enrollment verification process office staff will be able available for support beginning, Monday, August 16th.

Picture Day will be on September 10th and picture retakes will be on November 1st during school hours.

SKPS School Bus 2018-19

Bus Rider Registration

If you intend for your student to ride the bus, you MUST register for transportation services through Parent Vue. To be eligible for transportation services, students must reside 1.5 miles away from their resident school. Registering for transportation services helps transportation department establish bus routes to keep your student safe

School Supply List 2021-22

Whiteaker families, as we prepare for a great school year ahead, there are many ways that students can prepare for success!  Below is a list of supplies that Whiteaker students may need. Whiteaker families, if any students are having trouble getting needed supplies, please contact the main office and we can help!

To assist students, and minimize the items students are required to carry to each of their classes, we ask the students to have the following items the first day of school:

  • Sturdy Three Ring Binder
  • Notebook Paper-3 hole, lined, 8 ½ x 11 (College or Wide Ruled).
  • 2 Graph Paper ¼” Spirals (1 for each Trimester)
  • Minimum of 3 Spiral Notebooks– 8 ½ x 11 (College Ruled) , +2 Additional Notebooks for 7th and 8th grade Science for the yea.
  • Ruler with inches and centimeters
  • 2 Large – size pink erasers
  • 1 Set wired headphones
  • 6th Graders 1 Pack College Ruled Paper (NOT SPIRAL).
  • 5 Pencils (Sharpened in a pencil pouch)
  • 2 Pens (Blue or Black)
  • 2 Red Pens
  • Set of Colored Pencils (Sharpened)
  • Highlighters (5 Multiple colors -yellow, blue, green, orange, pink)
  • Pencil Sharpener– handheld
  • Zippered Pencil pouch
  • Glue Stick
